I have a Macbook Pro mid 2012 (2.9 GHZ i7 8GB) Yosemite 10.10.5 is this compatible with Logic Pro X? If not,what are some of the issues and what is this version of Yosemite compatible with? I'm new at this, but doing research before buying.Thanks in advance.
A short tutorial how to import SoundFonts (.sf2) in EXS24 when using Logic Pro X on OS X Yosemite and El Capitan.- Place the SoundFont in the folder {UserName} / Music / Audio Music Apps / Sampler Instruments;
- Go to EXS24 and press Refresh Menu. The file should be visible in your list;
- Click on it. The file will be loaded and is ready to use
Logic has created an .exs file in the Sampler Instruments folder. Logic has also created a folder called
Logic Pro X Yosemite Compatibility
SoundFont Samples
in the Audio Music Apps folder. Here the samples will be stored. Note:Logic Pro X For Windows
- You can remove the original SoundFont file from the Sampler Instruments folder.
- Conversion will not always be perfect. So carefully check if the conversion went well.
